Dina Rich has been an Island visitor since the 90s, and after career in education and technology, decided to enjoy life as a South Padre Island resident. She purchased her first slice of Island paradise in 2004 and has been an owner of both rental and residential property.  She is honored to be a part of the Troy Giles Realty team, knowing that she has the strength, knowledge, and experience of a company with more than 45 years in the SPI real estate business standing behind her.

A graduate of the Kaplan School of Real Estate, Dina is a member of the South Padre Island Board of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. She was elected to serve as a director on the South Padre Island Board of Realtors, and is also the chairman of the SPIBOR Multiple Listing Service Committee. Active in her community, Dina is serving on the SPI Planning & Zoning Commission.

Designations and certifications acknowledge experience and expertise in various real estate sectors, and are awarded by the National Association of Realtors and each affiliated group upon completion of required courses and/or passing of examinations. Dina has earned the following designations/certifications:  Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS); Seller Representative Specialist (SRS); Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA); Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE); Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI); Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR); Certified Real Estate Internet Marketing (ePRO); and Military Relocation Specialist (MRP). Dina holds three college degrees and is a member of Mensa.

Dina has appeared on HGTV’s “Island Life” and “Beachfront Bargain Hunt.”

As former educator, Dina strives to ensure that her clients are informed of the latest market trends, enabling them to make wise buying/selling decisions. With her background in technology, she creates a strong online marketing presence for seller's properties in order to reach that perfect buyer.

"I grew up in the Pittsburgh area, and at the age of seven, visited the New Jersey beach for the first time. As I was listening to my parents make conversation with our waitress one morning at breakfast, it suddenly dawned on me that there are people who actually live in vacation towns; they never have to ‘go home.' From that point, it became my dream to someday live at the beach; to be one of the fortunate few who do not have to pack up and return home at the end of the week. Just as my dream finally came to fruition, I hope to make other's property ownership dreams come true."
